Bible Verses On Anxiety And Fear

By Jasmine Cummings

Displeasing feelings of fear can cause a huge disruption in your life. You may be tempted to go on medications or see a psychologist, but true healing can be found in bible verses on anxiety. Reading several passages can help you deal with demanding situations that make you feel afraid.

There is so much evidence of people dealing with anxious situations all over the bible. While no one's situation can be compared to yours, you can still find a common relationship among every biblical character. Anyone that overcame their fear, did so by trusting in God.

The book of Proverbs is filled with lines that encourage to trust in God. You will never go wrong if you put your burdens onto God. You will never see a quick fix, but eventually you will see your circumstances turn around and your mind becoming at ease.

Philippians chapter four tells you that to get rid of your uneasiness, do not be anxious. Peace will come immediately if you are willing to keep praying and to keep giving thanksgiving. Eventually, you will feel the peace of God guarding both your heart and your mind.

The moments that you are feeling vulnerable and weak are the best times to put your faith in God. As your comforter, he will provide you with strength that will sustain even after your needs are met. Reading scripture daily, will remind you of God's promises to you.

Other bible verses on anxiety can be found in the book of Matthew, which reminds you that you should not concern yourself with the worries of tomorrow because they will take care of themselves. The book of Revelations will encourage you to keep moving forward because better times are coming. Eventually, as it is said in chapter twenty-one, verse 4, God will wipe away every tear from your eye.
